Ministry Update 2019

These last couple of months of ministry have honestly been so much fun and so fulfilling!  

YFCHL: We are off to another great season at the hockey league!   We have had an incredible 35 new students show up at the league this year! Not all have stuck around but around 70% have become fairly consistent in our league!  It is so incredible to see how quickly these kids fall in love with this program and quickly they become apart of this giant dysfunctional family! 

Famtime: This program is one of the newest programs we run and it is quickly becoming one of my favourites.  We bring a bunch of the kids from the YFCHL to the building and play video games, poker, board games and watch hockey (or a movie).   It is a safe place for these kids to come and be kids on a Thursday night.  And it is a lot of fun and (at times) frustrating trying to teach them how to play poker. 

Gymblast: For this program, we travel to schools all over Saskatchewan running this high energy gym assembly program.  It teaches teamwork, cooperation, and leadership all while giving the students a morning or afternoon they won’t soon forget!  Over the last couple of months, I have been trained to lead and run Gymblast on my own.   As well, in the near future, I will be taking over leadership for this program to be the Gymblast Director.  I am very excited to see how God uses this program to bless students all over the province!
