TYLER STEIN
CITY LIFE

Tyler Stein was born in Prince Albert on September 11, 1985 but has lived in Saskatoon for most of his life. He went to Peace River Bible Institute for 4 years. After finishing school he worked at a variety of different jobs that include Scott’s Parable in shipping and receiving, Canpar Transport and at the family business Puzzle Master until God lead him to Hands On Outreach & Development Centre. He worked alongside Rick and Rena Langlais at Hands On for 7 years until he began working with Saskatoon Youth For Christ® on April 16, 2018. His focus at YFC is on City Life where he is taking on an assisting role with Jim & Leslie at Drop-In throughout the school year. He is taking on more of a leadership role with summer Drop-In programming.

His passion is for the evangelism of Saskatoon’s inner city youth. He has distinctly felt God’s undeniable call into ministry at Saskatoon YFC. Part of what drew him to YFC was his continuing connection with Executive Director Kim Worthington since Kim led his small group in the West Portal Youth Group (approx. 2006).

Tyler married his amazing wife Allyscia on August 11, 2012. On August 11, 2019 their family expanded as they welcomed their son Zdeno Arthur Stein to the world. Baby Z has been a constant source of love and encouragement that gives a deeper understanding of the unconditional love God has for us. On Jan 10, 2022, they welcomed their second child, Eberley Miranda Jane.

He has several hobbies that include growing succulents and cacti, mountain biking, disc golf, and sports. He is a big Riders, Blue Jays and Winnipeg Jets fan and is part of several different fantasy sports leagues. While he does not travel all that often, he does have a baseball from every baseball stadium he has been to (Brewers, White Sox, Cubs, Mariners & Jays).
