Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to you through this letter because I have recently been accepted by Saskatoon Youth for Christ to join them on an exciting missions’ trip to Belmopan, Belize called Project Serve. In February of 2019 I will be joining ten other high school students from grades ten to twelve for twelve days of serving.

While in Belize, Saskatoon Youth for Christ Partners with The King’s Children’s home that currently has over 45 children taking residence at their orphanage. We will be there to help continue construction on a new facility and help develop the land around them. My team and I will also have the opportunity to provide as much happiness, love, support and affection as possible during our stay.

This missions trip, like many others, requires the support of my friends, family and community. I am inviting you to be a part of this experience with me through prayer, and/or financial aid. My team and I may be faced with challenges we have never experienced before and so we would sincerely appreciate any support we can get from you through prayer. I would greatly appreciate any prayers that you could provide my team and I, before during, and even after our trip.

To get me to Belize I am needing to raise $2800 to put towards our team and project. Individually I need to raise $1200 by the middle of December and the remaining sum by February 1st. If you choose to donate, any donation, whether its $5 or $500, will be greatly appreciated. Any extra money we raise above the $2800, will be incorporated into the mission. (i.e. buying paint for the house when it is not in the original budget.)
