Youth For Christ Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the infallible authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.
  • We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost — they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
Realizing that I am applying for a sensitive position involving potential at-risk youth, I will submit a copy of a "Criminal Record Check — Vulnerable Sector" from local police. If you already have a current Criminal Record Check, we will accept a copy if available (must be vulnerable sector). If not, YFC will provide a letter you can take to police requesting one — in most cases this makes the check free. Please ask a YFC staff member for this letter.

Have you ever been charged with a criminal offense?

Expected Conduct: As a volunteer with YFC, you are encouraged to conduct yourself in a manner that will in no way embarrass or discredit the work of YFC, but rather enhance it. Volunteers are never to speed or drive recklessly with teenagers.
