Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website operated by YFC Saskatoon | Youth Unlimited (“YFC Saskatoon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a registered Canadian charity based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. By accessing or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using This Website
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that breaks an applicable federal, provincial, or municipal law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, its servers, or connected systems
- Introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
- Interfere with or disrupt the site or another person’s use of it
- Collect personal information about other users, or scrape content, without our written permission
- Use our name, logo, or content to imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist
Donations
Online credit card donations are processed by CanadaHelps, an independent third-party platform. Your use of CanadaHelps is governed by their own terms of use and privacy policy.
- Official charitable tax receipts for online gifts are issued by CanadaHelps, not by YFC Saskatoon
- Receipts for gifts made by cheque or e-transfer are issued directly by our office
- Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it, subject to Canada Revenue Agency rules
- Where a gift is designated to a specific fund or program, we will honour that designation. If a program is fully funded, discontinued, or otherwise unable to use the gift, we may redirect it to an area of greatest need
- Recurring donations can be changed or cancelled at any time by contacting us or through CanadaHelps
Programs, Volunteering, and Registration
Applications to volunteer or join our staff, and registrations for our programs, are subject to review and approval. Submitting a form does not create any obligation on our part to accept an application or registration.
- Roles involving contact with young people require screening, which may include references and a criminal record check
- Participants under the age of 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian
- We may decline or end a participant’s, volunteer’s, or staff member’s involvement where we believe it is necessary for the safety and wellbeing of those in our care
Forms and Information You Submit
You agree that information you submit through this site is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it. Information you submit is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
Unless noted otherwise, the content on this site — including text, graphics, photographs, and layout — is owned by or licensed to YFC Saskatoon and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. “Youth For Christ” and “Youth Unlimited,” along with their associated logos, are trademarks used under licence.
You may view, download, and print material from this site for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, or modification requires our prior written permission.
Photography and Media
Photos and stories featured on this site are published with the consent of the individuals shown, or of a parent or guardian where the individual is a minor. If you appear in content on this site and would like it removed, please contact us and we will act on your request promptly.
