TORRENCE COLLIER IS PART OF PROJECT SERVE BELIZE 2019!

Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Torrence Collier and I’m writing to let you know about an exciting mission opportunity that I’ve been excepted for, through Saskatoon Youth for Christ. This February of 2019, ten youth and myself will be traveling to Belmopan, Belize for twelve days, as part of an organization called Project Serve.

During our time in Belize we will be continuing construction on a building for the Kings Children’s Home. Which is the Orphanage we will be partnering with. The Kings Children's Home currently houses 45+ children, and my team members and I will he helping to develop the land where they live. Aside to our work, we will also be able to spend time playing with the kids, and providing them with as much care and love as possible.

This trip is also very dependent on community support, and with that we’d like to invite you to become apart of this mission, through prayer, encouragement or financial aid. Prayer is something that plays a vital and major role for our team and for this trip.

As for the financial side of this trip, I must raise a total $2800; $1200 by the middle of December and then the rest by February 1st. Any donation (from 5$-$500+) for this mission would be greatly appreciated and all donations go towards the mission, to pay for all the expenses (supplies; paint, wood, cement etc). If I make more then the required amount, all extra proceeds go towards paying for materials outside of our set budget, (extra materials).

You can donate safely and easily online by clicking on the Donate Now button below and writing my name in the Comment Box. Donating online greatly reduces administration time and money, you will also instantly get your tax receipt. If you prefer to write a cheque you can make it out to Youth for Christ and mail it to 1338 Ave B North Saskatoon, SK S7L1G5. You will then receive your tax-deductible receipt at the end of the year.

I would like to thank you for becoming a part of this experience with me! I am very fortunate to get the opportunity to have this incredible learning experience through God. I will be able to learn from the people of Belize and at the same time connect with the children of King’s Children’s Home through the service we will be doing.
