KADIE LAMBERT IS PART OF PROJECT SERVE BELIZE 2019!

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing this letter to tell you about my upcoming missions trip! Saskatoon Youth for Christ has given me the chance to be a part of an exciting mission opportunity. Eleven other youth (grades ten to twelve) and I will be going to Belmopan, Belize in February 2019 for 12 days on a team called Project Serve.

The King’s Children’s home is an orphanage in Belize that we will be continuing construction on as it is a new facility. This home has over 45 children taking residence at the orphanage, our team gets the opportunity to spend time playing with the kids, teaching them more about God, learning from them, and providing them with as much love and care as we can while in Belize.

This trip requires a large amount of support from my community, I invite you to support me and be a part of this experience through prayer, encouragement, and / or financial aid. One of the most important aspects of this trip is prayer, prayer for our team and me as an individual. You can pray that we will be successful in our fundraising, that our team connects and grows lifelong relationships, we can support and love the children to our best ability, and we travel safely. If you could pray for our team and myself as we prepare for the mission, go on the mission, and come home from the mission it would really be appreciated.

In order to go on this trip I have to fundraise a total of $2800: my first goal is to raise $1200 by the middle of December as that is when we need it by. The remaining amount will be my next goal, I need the total amount by February 1st. Any donation, whether it be $5 or $500 is so appreciated and will greatly benefit my fundraising goals, all of the money goes directly towards the expense of my mission. If I were to raise more than my goal we will simply incorporate the extra money into the mission; the more we raise the more we can help out! You can also donate items that I will be able to take to the home, for example office supplies, soccer equipment, socks and underwear, toiletries, and much more! Feel free to contact me regarding these donations.

You can donate easily and safely online by clicking on the Donate Now button below and writing my name in the comment section. Donating online greatly reduces administration time and money, and you will instantly get your tax receipt. If you would prefer to write a cheque you can make it out to Youth for Christ and mail it to 1338 Ave B North Saskatoon, SK S7L1G5. You will then receive you tax-deductible receipt at the end of the year.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter and being a part of this amazing experience with me. I am so excited to be a part of the Project Serve team, and learn so many new things from the people in Belize while serving there. If you have any questions about the mission please feel free to contact me at 1 (306) 361-5057.
