Aloha from D4
D4 (Dimension Four) is a creative bi-monthly youth event that we do in partnership with Lakeview Church and Rock of Ages Church in Saskatoon. We create lively themed events that attract many kids who are not part of a youth group, with the goal that during the event, these kids will interact and connect with students and staff from our partner churches. The best connecting times happen through crazy games, great food, and a large group session where we share the story of Jesus.
April 27 was our final event of the year: a Hawaiian Beach Party, which seemed appropriate after such a long winter. Over 120 kids showed up and experienced outdoor games, a beach inspired photo booth, and some amazing food including polynesian meatballs and grilled pineapple!
During the large group session, we talked about IDENTITY, who God has created us to be, and the exciting story that begins to unfold when we follow Jesus. It was a fun and inspiring way to end a great year at d4, and we are so thankful for solid church partnerships
