Our Vision

The vision of Youth for Christ® is, in partnership with the body of Christ, to see every young person in every people group in every nation have the opportunity to make an informed decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ and to become a part of a local church.

Our Mission

The mission of Youth for Christ® is to participate in the body of Christ in responsible evangelism of youth, presenting them with the person, work and teachings of Christ and discipling them into the local church.

Our History

Since the 1940's, Youth for Christ® has served to reach out to the young people of Canada and offer them the life changing message of the gospel. Over the years, thousands of young lives have been touched. Today, many of the leaders in our communities and our churches have been influenced by YFC® and their lives have been shaped through the influence of the gospel.

Our Statement of Faith

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible authoritative Word of God.

• We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

• We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful people is by the grace of God through faith and the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
