Nicole Simpson is one of the office administration staff (primarily bookkeeper) for Youth for Christ®. She also helps with the Disorganized Sports program at one of the area elementary schools near the office. She began her YFC career in 1992.
Nicole attended and earned a Bachelor of Christian Education degree in 1985 from Living Faith Bible College at Caroline, Alberta. She has had a varied work background, including teaching in 2 Christian schools, working at several Christian camps, working with the deaf school in Saskatoon and with thoroughbred race horses.
Over the last several years, Nicole has had a steep learning curve, and put her hand to, helping with Habitat for Humanity. She definitely likes her tools.
Nicole has varied interests, including drawing, riding horses, downhill skiing, and is the ultimate book worm. She is involved in her church and has played guitar for the worship ministry since moving to Saskatoon, likes to play the "egg shaker," and has been trying her hand at playing the djembe (congo-like drum). She is also a "rookie" sound tech from time to time with her church. She is a Calgary Stampeder fan; she likes to play, though is not good at, slow-pitch, basketball, volleyball, etc, and likes to watch most sports. Her favourite TV show is "CSI" (all versions), her favourite movie is "Dances With Wolves," and her favourite singing artist is Carolyn Arends.
Nicole hales from Cremona, Alberta, and has lived in Saskatoon since 1988.
