John came to Saskatchewan with his wife and two children. They moved to Caronport to study at Briercrest Bible College. He was able to cram 4 years into 5 and graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry. In the summer of 2003 he felt called by God to join Youth for Christ and to work full time with street youth.
Being raised as a foster child most of his life, it is John's desire to share the love of Christ with youth who are experiencing a similar life. The goal that John has is to show the youth how Christ can fill the void in their lives and as a family, demonstrate the joys of being part of God's family.
John and his family are all music buffs with styles varying from country, pop, and hard rock. In the words of Quiet Riot, "We want it louder, more power." John and Rosemary are also major Tim Horton's fans as John spent close to four years working there. He has also had many work experiences as well as ministry.
