We are definitely seeing the signs of life at Eastside d4 this year...the Eastside d4 community is growing every week. With up to 50 Jr. High students and over 75 Sr. High students showing up on any given Wednesday night, the atmosphere has been electric. It is encouraging to see the signs of growth within our community.
Our theme this year is ‘Signs of Life’. Our core verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new (life) has come!” This verse has inspired this year’s main idea and focus: if we connect with the Truth of Christ, and if God’s Spirit is living inside us, then every part of our lives will be effected...the signs of new abundant life will be on display for all to see. We are excited how God has moved within our community this year.
Running this weekly discipleship community takes alot of commitment from staff and our great team of volunteers. This program demands our time and our resources. Rock of Ages Church has graciously allowed to use their facility for free, and we are so thankful. However, the additional costs of keeping this program going are between $50 -$75 per week.
